Kaylee Matthews

Kaylee returned to Developmental Options in 2025 and has been dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities for the past 10 months adding to her previous 2 years of time serving our residents. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Idaho State University and began her career in child protection with the State of Idaho.

Throughout her career, Kaylee has gained experience in case management across a variety of settings, including hospital services, crisis centers, and outpatient programs. These experiences have strengthened her passion for helping individuals navigate challenges, build skills, and work toward greater independence.

What she enjoys most about working with Developmental Options is seeing residents grow in their independence and gain confidence in doing things for themselves. She finds it especially rewarding to watch individuals learn new skills, reach personal goals, and celebrate accomplishments that may once have seemed out of reach.

Outside of work, Kaylee stays busy keeping up with her toddler and enjoys spending time traveling and crafting. She values time with family and friends and enjoys finding new adventures
