Compassionate Residential Care in a Home-Like Setting

ICF/IID services are a Medicaid-funded benefit for individuals with intellectual disabilities and other related conditions. These services are provided 24 hours a day and are designed to meet each resident’s unique needs through individualized support, care, and active treatment.

Our group homes are designed to feel like home while providing the structure and assistance individuals need to thrive. Staff work closely with residents and their support teams to promote safety, encourage personal choice, and support each person’s goals, abilities, and interests.

Our Individualized Approach

What Is Active Treatment?

Active treatment is an organized, individualized approach to helping each resident reach their fullest potential and function as independently as possible. Rather than providing care based on a one-size-fits-all model, active treatment focuses on the skills, abilities, needs, and goals of each individual.

Every resident receives an individualized program designed around their own developmental objectives. Goals may include building daily living skills, improving communication, increasing independence, developing social connections, or participating more fully in their home and community.

Because every person develops at their own pace, progress looks different for each resident. Our staff provides consistent encouragement, hands-on assistance, and meaningful opportunities for growth while respecting each individual’s choices, abilities, and dignity.
